Don't you like to make beautiful collages? I don't know what is so cool about them but I just love to make some collages when I'm listening to music or just bored. Maybe they are so cool because they can show how complex our mind and imagination are, but the result is so beautiful and in some way logical.
Collage 1 and Collage 3 were inspired by the epic band CRYSTAL CASTLES! I so obsessed with them, I love how something so chaotic like their music can be at the same time beautiful, is like Mario Bros on crack, non sense make senses and chaos is order, definetely they are my favorite band at the moment. The second collage is obviously inspired by Like a Virgin by Madonna, but let me tell you it wasnt originally inspired by that song. The true inspiration was Britney Spears photoshoot for Pop Magazine. I was thinking for a while in how could I make a tribute to such beatiful photoshoot, after a while I went to an exposition and saw a photo of a little girl dressed all in white like a bride but obviously she wasn't getting married it was her first comunion picture, I was amazed how similar was this photo to the cover of Pop Magazine so I took a pic of this picture and also from a african american marriage (both pics can be seen in the collage) and start thinking what this 3 pictures had in common. So what they have in common was purity and virginity, and what better song could fit this theme??? Yes you guess it right! Like a Virgin from Madonna.
